Week 6 Editing

  Limited video effects were used during our film. Most of the shots and transitions were planned out during the actual filming. There was one use of video transition in our film that required extra attention.

Week 7 Editing

  Some of the audio used during the editing included non-diegetic sound like a musical score made by one of my group mates. Problems that occurred during editing was the amount of time needed against how much time we had.

Week 5 Filming

 For filming this week, we had an over the shoulder shot over looking scenery and a shot over looking the stairs to show Carson's movement. The wind was very heavy this day so trying not to speak over it was an issue. The shots did turn out good and helped to establish setting well.

Week 4 Filming

  In these pictures, we took some shots for our horror film. One shot was one showing Carson running and the other was a close-up to help portray expression. One issue we had was trying to keep the correct expression for the close-up. It was funny to shoot and we kept laughing. 

Preparation to Starting Filming

  Actors: The decided actors in our film opener are going to be me, the unsuspecting victim of Horseman; Reid, the friend that the unsuspecting victim calls on the phone when he is spooked; and Jason, who will be playing the murderous Horseman. Costumes: The clothing of the regular people will be nothing out of the ordinary. However, Horseman will be dressed in cut up dirty jeans, a dark hoodie over his head, a styrofoam head with a horse mask on it, and horse hooves on.  Props: Since this is going to be shot in a house, there are no props that are out of the usual or not available to my group-mates. We will need a steak knife, a phone, and a shower towel as our list of props needed to execute this opener.  Locations: The entirety of this opener will be shot at my house. Mostly in the living room area, balcony, and bathroom.  Dates and Times: We are planning on shooting these scenes next weekend (Feb. 19th and 20th).  Scripts: We will only have to writ...
