Limited video effects were used during our film. Most of the shots and transitions were planned out during the actual filming. There was one use of video transition in our film that required extra attention.
Following Shot: In this shot I followed my friend into the bathroom. The idea of it Reaction Shot: This shot was meant to capture the pure shock of my friend as I intrude into his personal space. High Angle Shot: In this shot I take a video of my friend unexpectedly in the bathroom stall at work. Close-Up Shot: This shot was meant to capture the use of a pencil rather than a typical person. Medium-Long Shot: Choker Shot: This shot helps to entrance you into my friends eyes. It really helps to portray his emotion onto the viewer itself. Low-Angle Shot: POV Shot: This shot helps you to see and experience what I feel. Its helps to give a sense of friendship to the viewer and the person in the shot. Reid's Storyboard Shots Reid, my favorite shot of yours had to have been your action shot. I truly was shocked to see your fist heading towards me, or rather the camera, at mach 5. Another shot that portrayed emotion well was your extreme close up. To me at least it felt as if you had a sense of panic or stress. Lastly, a great shot had to have been your reaction shot. I really felt your sense of confusion and disorientation as your screen changed colors so rapidly. Josh's Storyboard Shots Josh, although all your shots are wonderful, there are three of them that stand out the most to me. Your panorama really help to show the environment you were in. A quiet school hallway must've meant that this was taken during a class period. Another shot that was good was your following shot. In the show “Agent Carter” we see how many different sound effects, camera shots, all the different editing , and different example of mise-en-scene . Examining and writing about these clips helps me learn how shots are utilized in an actual film and shows. It also helps me learn how different shots can be used to affect the audience and what they think. The excerpt starts by showing us a close-up of how “Captain America: The First Avenger” ends. We see when Steve Rogers crashes into the ocean and Peggy has to say goodb ye to him. Then the shot transitions into an establishing shot of New York , this show helps the audience understand that it has been some time since the end of Captain America. There is then a wide camera shot showing a room of agents that hear a buzzer and stand up in order to wait for their assignments . We then see an over the shoulder shot of Peggy as her boss comes up to her and babies her. We see how Peggy goes from being below her boss when he is ask...
