Master Edits in a Professional Film Audio

Intro:
1. Throughout my intros and cuts I decided that it would be better if I didn't add any sound.

Symbolism:

2. Post Synchronization Dubbing: For this scene there weren't any sounds that fit well for the first clip, however, for the second clip I chose to use a tape rewind wound because it made it seem like the video was moving backwards as the camera pulled away.

Simultaneity:

3. Post Synchronization Dubbing: I chose a coin dropping because I believed it conveyed the same message as something else dropping, and the footsteps was just something I added in so it made it seem like I was walking to pick up the pencil.

Contrast:

4.  Post Synchronization Dubbing: The first scene I chose to add a phone to make it seem like I wasn't doing any work and I was instead on my phone. For the next scene I chose cheering because it seems like people would be happy if you did your work on time as opposed to procrastinate.

Parallelism:

5.  Post Synchronization Dubbing: I chose crickets in the first scene so that I could show how quiet it was, and then I chose school bell to make it seem like the bell had rung and everyone was coming outside.

Leit Motif:

6. Direct Sound: For this scene I just chose to leave the sound that was added into the movie originally.
